Carvings & Sculptures

Playsafe Playgrounds can create a wide variety of original timber carvings & sculptures to suite all budgets and requirements. All of our sculptures are made from sustainable hardwood or softwood timber which require minimal maintenance. The softwood carvings can treated with exterior wood stains to give long lasting protection however this is not absolutely necessary with the hardwood carvings. Our carvings are always designed with the clients requirements in mind and are involved through every step of the design process.

As our chainsaw carvings are all cut on an individual basis, it ensures that that are always unique, bespoke and full of character thus can make a perfect addition to your public park, office communal area, garden etc. We can also create garden furniture carved from solid timbers and any other bespoke items made to order.

Play Equipment Manufacturer – Robinia Timber

Playsafe Playgrounds also supply bespoke Robinia Timber Play Solutions for Parks and Open Spaces, Parish Councils and Schools to suit budgetary requirements and specifications. These can range from small decked tower units right through to an extensive range of adventure trail items. Similar to the large park projects, every item of Robinia play equipment manufactured to BSEN1176 standards, is lovingly hand crafted by our locally sourced team of craftsmen in the heart of West Sussex and finished to the highest quality and standards.

Safety Surfacing

As independent manufacturers, suppliers and installers we also have our own safety surfacing teams who can install Wet Pour rubber and SafaMulch rubber safety surfacing. We also supply and install Artificial Grass, Grass Mats and all types of loose fill safety surfacing e.g. bark, wood chip, sand etc. Every installation and base works are completed in accordance to BSEN1177 and is all fully certificated. We also offer full guarantees on our equipment, installation and safety surfacing works.
