The Grand Opening of Oakhanger Village’s brand New Play Area took place on Saturday 12th September 2015.

It was officially opened by Damien Hinds MP with the Chairman of the Oakhanger (& Selborne) Parish Council and Alice Cowie who orchestrated the project.

Playsafe Playgrounds Ltd was given the contract to manufacture, supply and install a Hardwood Robinia Timber Three Decked Unit complete with a Stainless Steel Slide into a loose bark pit encased with oak sleepers. The company also supplied a toddler swing, a nest swing and adventure trail trail items (burma bridge, stepping logs and a balance beam). We also carved a bespoke Pig Springer from a solid piece of oak. The Robinia Timber for the project was supplied by the Dylan Group for the project, with the project management, fabrication, construction and installation carried out Playsafe Playgrounds management and installation teams.
